Mara (she/he) is currently working on getting a masters in counselling and community psych. She likes bowling alley carpets, Will Wood and the Tapeworms, podcasts, comics, and the Oxford comma.

Dislikes include fascism, green apple flavouring, taking a right on red, and not using the Oxford comma. Mara’s writing is hugely influenced by classic horror, as well as surrealism, mythology, and fantasy! His two biggest writing inspirations include Neil Gaiman and Kurt Vonnegut.

She is known across multiple platforms for original short horror and fantasy stories with a style that plays with perspective as a means of exploring the subjectivity of the human experience and reality itself. Mara incorporates her personality in her writing through tongue-in-cheek humour that refuses to reveal what a cynic or optimist she really is.
